Slingsby Yorkshire Rhubarb gin has officially been named 'Britain's favourite Rhubarb Gin'
Our gin triumphed over competitors to clinch the title, following an independent blind consumer tasting which put 4 of the leading brands’ rhubarb creations to the test. The taste test analysed the gins based on aroma and taste, and put Slingsby top over other gin brands such as Warner’s, Harrogate Tipple and That Boutique-y Gin Company - according to Nielsen data, these brands (including us) have the best selling Rhubarb-only gins which is why we chose these as comparisons.
This wonderful result came at a perfect time as rhubarb season is upon us, and we all know British summertime is even better with a rhubarb G&T in hand!
This latest announcement confirms something Team Slingsby were confident about for a while now as our Yorkshire Rhubarb gin has won twenty-two awards, including the Gin Masters, London Spirits Competition, Bartender Brand Awards and San Fransico World Spirits Competition.
Here's what our co-founder Marcus Black has to say about our news: "The taste test results really speak for themselves, and they finally confirm what we have always thought – that our Rhubarb Gin really is the best in the country!
Rhubarb gin is hugely popular with British drinkers, and therefore the competition is stiff, but we really pride ourselves on the combination of fruity rhubarb from right here in Yorkshire with a tangy citrus undertone which ensures the drink isn’t too sweet, which many rhubarb gins on the market can be. We can’t wait for even more people to try our Rhubarb Gin this summer and experience it for themselves!”

If you didn't know, we're the new official gin supplier to Ascot Racecourse which includes the most anticipated race meeting of the year, Royal Ascot. The Royal Ascot Blush is set to be the drink of the season at the world-famous racecourse, which is crafted using Slingsby Yorkshire Rhubarb Gin and will be served across their bars throughout the season.
50ml Slingsby Yorkshire Rhubarb Gin
200ml Fever-Tree Lemonade
Fresh Strawberries, to garnish
INSTRUCTIONS: Pour 50ml of Slingsby Rhubarb Gin into a highball glass with ice and top it with Fever-Tree Lemonade. Mix it all together and top with fresh strawberries.
