Our wonderful home town is the focal point for the 2019 UCI Road World Championship, hosting the finish of every race of the nine day competition. Since 1571 when William Slingsby discovered the unique properties of the natural spring water from the Tewit Well, Harrogate has been a hotspot for tourists and a place to relax, indulge and socialise with friends and loved ones. With the world’s very best cyclists coming to Harrogate, it truly is the place to be.

And of course, no trip is complete without a visit to Betty’s Tea Rooms. Betty’s is a piece of Harrogate heritage and has some of the very best food in the county. We recommend picking up their famous Fat Rascals to power you through the afternoon of cycling-inspired activities in the fan zone.
