We are proud to announce that the Spirit of Harrogate are sponsors of a new Sunshine Coach in partnership with Children's charity, Variety Yorkshire.

Variety has presented the coach to the children at Hob Moor Oaks, a school based in Accomb, York. 

Hob Moor Oaks is part of the Federation with Hob Moor Community Primary School. The Oaks offer a range of learning environments which help to address the child’s barriers to learning. They have spacious classrooms with ceiling tracking hoists and accessible changing facilities. They also have compact classrooms with small side rooms which can offer a continuum of low stimulation accommodation.

All children have either Mild Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities or PDA with a high proportion of children also having Autism Spectrum Disorder. This coach would enable them to take more children out to access activities such as swimming, donkey rides , educational visits and transitional visits to secondary schools.
