If you love a classic Mojito and our Slingsby Marmalade gin, this is the cocktail for you. It is an adapted Slingsby version that is super refreshing and the perfect addition to a light lunch or for relaxing in the sunshine. The rich citrus flavour from our Marmalade gin works wonderfully alongside the sweetness of the Marmalade preserve and the lemon and mint gives it a wonderful aromatic nose.
INGREDIENTS
35ml Slingsby Marmalade Gin
15ml White Rum
1/2 a lemon diced into 4 pieces
Spoon of marmalade preserve
Fresh Mint leaves
Splash of soda
INSTRUCTIONS
Muddle the lemon and the marmalade preserve until all the juices and the preserve are well mixed. Add 1/2 a glass of crushed ice, rum, gin and mint leaves and stir vigorously to mix together. Add another 1/2 glass of crushed ice and a splash of soda and then stir again. Garnish with a slice of orange and a mint sprig.
