Earlier this year we announced some pretty special news that Slingsby Gin was the new official gin of Ascot Racecourse. This meant that racegoers would be able to sip refreshing Slingsby Gin serves all year long at the world-famous racecourse, which includes the most anticipated race meeting of the year, Royal Ascot.
All of Team Slingsby were very excited in the build up, and the end result was a truly incredible event! As the official gin of the racecourse, every bar within the venue was serving Slingsby Gin and to top this off, we also had 3 branded Slingsby Gin bars around the racecourse. Two of these were in the Queen Anne Enclosure, the Juniper Bar and Gin Terrace, and one was in the Royal Enclosure, the Tepin Bar.
Royal recipes
Amongst the bars, racegoers were spoilt for choice when it came to Slingsby Gin cocktails. The menu of course included the drink of the season, the Royal Ascot Blush, but also delicious drinks like the Lazy Negroni with our citrussy Marmalade gin, the fruity English Rose with our London Dry and the refreshingly good British Summer Time made with our Gooseberry gin.
Our Head Mixologist Alex, recreated a couple of these cocktails on our social media recently to help you recreate these in just a few simple steps. It also gives you an excuse to bring the Royal Ascot to you and your loved ones this summer!
