Created in the 1980's the Bramble is a classic spring cocktail. Most commonly made using London Dry Gin, Slingsby Old Tom offers a slightly sweeter version.
40ml Slingsby Old Tom Gin
15ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
10ml Simple Syrup
15ml Creme de Mure
Build all ingredients in a low ball glass filled with ice. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel and blackberries.
Top Tip: Simple syrup, sometimes called sugar syrup is incredibly versatile and even easier to make. Simply mix equal parts water and sugar in a saucepan. Slowly bring to a simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow it to cool and store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 weeks.
